2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Unveiled With More Tech and Features
February 26 2021,
There’s a new Mercedes-Benz C-Class on the way. Scheduled to arrive early next year, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is longer, wider and more spacious. It’s also packed with improved technology and an even better 4Matic all-wheel drive system. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer.
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will initially come in one version exclusively, the C 300 4Matic. It will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in six seconds. We can expect more versions of the C-Class to be unveiled down the road including multiple Mercedes-AMG versions.
The new C-Class is larger, wider and longer than the outgoing model. That means more interior space thanks to a larger wheelbase that has grown by 25 mm. Overall the C-Class has grown by 65 mm.
Inside, the new floating dashboard is reminiscent of the redesigned S-Class, although Mercedes-Benz says they were going for a slightly sportier overall feel for the C-Class. The centre console is turned towards the driver, for example. A new MBUX infotainment system with advanced voice commands is also included.
The new 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be one of the most important models in the lineup when it arrives, the C-Class still being one of the best-selling models at Mercedes-Benz… And in its segment.
