Mercedes-Benz introduces 2023 GLC 300
June 02 2022,
The all-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 introduced this week brings significant improvements to the popular GLC compact SUV without changing what has made the Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicles so popular in recent years. The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC gains more interior space and practicality, improved versatility, improved off-road capability, and enhanced efficiency.
Scheduled to arrive on the market next spring, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 will be powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. A new 48-volt system paired with an Integrated Starter Generator delivers added boost when needed, but it also plays a significant role in reducing fuel consumption. This will definitely be the most fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz GLC ever built.
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets an improved interior as well. This new interior features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as well as a new 11.9-inch portrait centre display. The interior looks very much like the interior in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class interior which is definitely a compliment to the new GLC 300. Moreover, an enhanced infotainment system courtesy of a second generation of the MBUX technology from Mercedes-Benz will significantly enhance the experience onboard. The new MBUX system will provide enhanced voice commands to make interacting with the system and adjusting various controls easier. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC also gets improved technology.
Already a very capable off-road performer, the new GLC adds an impressive “transparent hood” technology that allows the user to see through the hood to keep an eye on everything that is close to the vehicle when driving off-road. This is very useful technology that you will certainly use every day when going off-road. There is also a standard off-road driving mode as well as an off-road screen that shows relevant information such as inclination and gradient.
The GLC will offer more interior space with 600 L of cargo space with all seats in place, and there will be more legroom as well for passengers. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC will arrive on the market next spring.
