Mercedes-Benz vehicles offer the best resale value according to the 2021 Canadian Black Book

Mercedes-Benz took home five awards in the recent 2021 Canadian Black Book Best Retained Value Awards. Two Mercedes-Benz models finished first and second among all luxury cars while both Mercedes-Benz commercial vans placed in the top three in their segments. Mercedes-Benz also shined in the luxury SUV segment.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class was named the best luxury car for Best Retained Value while the Mercedes-Benz E-Class finished second. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter finished first in the full-size commercial van segment while the Mercedes-Benz Metris finished second. Lastly, the Mercedes-Benz GLE finished second among all sport utility vehicles in the luxury segment.
The Best Retained Value Award has been awarded for 15 years by Canadian Black Book, the industry standard for determining vehicle value in Canada.
The value retained represents the value retained after four years. In other words, it is an indication of depreciation and ultimately of the value a vehicle offers to its owners.
